Steam Moist Chocolate Cake

Another try from me - " Steam Moist Chocolate Cake "

After few tries with the pau, finally I had tried the Chocolate Cake. The recipe was referred from HERE.

Icing sugar as topping. It looks like SNOW :)

It really YUMMY and I also give this 5-star !! 

Pau season

What I had been busy with this few days? From my blog title, you can know that I had tried out how to do pau !!!! I glad that I was sucess :)

My first try is the " man tou". 

Thanks to the recipe which I got from Jane's Corner !!!! :)

Ingredients :

• 350g flour ( I use HongKong flour because the pau will look whiter )
• 180g water
• 3.5g yeast ( I use around 1tbsp)
• 25g sugar
• 10g shortening
• 1 tbsp cocoa powder

Method:

1. Mix all the ingredients together except the cocoa powder to form a smooth dough.
2. Divide the dough into 2 portion. ( One weight 330g and another one 220g).
3. Set aside the plain dough to prove.
4. Add cocoa powder to the 220g portion. Continue the kneading till it smooth. Rest for 5 minutes.
5. Roll out the plain dough into rectangle shape about 30cm x 20cm and set aside.
6. Roll out the cocoa dough into rectangle shape but slightly smaller than plain dough.
7. Brush some plain water on the surface of the plain dough and top with the cocoa dough. Make sure them stick well.
8. Roll the dough like a swiss roll and cut into 8 pieces.
9. Let the dough to prove for 30-45 minutes.
10. Steam the dough over medium hear for 15 minutes.

You also can do hotdog pau using the same ingredients .

No Him, No Me.

Happy Father's Day to all father in the world.

 "Happy Father's Day to my DADDYYYYY" !!!! I shout out loud so that the sound can travel all over the sea and jungles. Hope my father can hear it. Hope he can feel it. We really miss him here.

It so sad when he was not here with us. We seldom had chance to celebrate Father's Day and his birthday because he need work. I really envy those which their's daddy no need went so far for work. They can see their's father everyday. From young, my dad had to work far away from home. He got holiday which only a week in two months.  Now even worse, he only can back once in one year. That's why I came back during my study week during April. I know if I back during my holidays, he sure had went back to and I will miss the chance to see him after A YEAR !

My father was like a friend to us. He really seldom scold us. Maybe because he spent lesser time with us. But, I like to talk to my daddy because he is a funny man. I still remember that he even called me when I had class during his holidays this year. Then, I answered his call and ask why he was called. He said "I'm boring." I burst out laughing after heard his answer. Then, we talked a lots. I felt happy to talk with him. I still remembered that he told me that he want retired early. That make me felt so sad. How I wish I can work and earn money so that he no need work anymore. I wish to let him rest earlier and enjoy his time with my mum.

Thank you for everything that you had done to this family. Happy Father's Day to you. We really miss u lots. You always in our prayer. Take care when work and come back safely next year. I will try my best to finish my final year and graduate on time. I will make you proud ! *Hugs for you daddy*.

Homemade Pancake

The ingredients :

3 cups flour

6 tbsp brown sugar

2 tbsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

3 eggs

1 1/2 cup milk

1/3 cup Canola oil

Steps:

1. Mix the dry ingredients flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

2. Beat the eggs, milk and oil in another bowl.

3. Combine both the mixtures and stir until smooth.

4. Heat the pan with low heat. Flip them over when the surface bubbly.

5. When it is done, you can serve it with maple syrup, honey, ice-cream and any of your favorite jam. 

Bowling Day

Lil brother : Sis, we go play bowling. OK?

So, that how we spent our Friday. It was our first time went for bowling. What else we can do in Miri? Movie, bowling, shopping, eat and sleep. OMG !! It maybe sound boring but still I wish my holiday never end. 

FUN and TIRED - the words I can describe. Hope my right hand will be fine tomorrow :)

I like Nippon Paint because...

I used to watch tv show about makeover of house and I really wish that my home will get such chance too in future :) Nippon Paint Makeover ?? Wow.... it is just come on time.

Why I say so? This is because my house was already age around 15++ years and only now we had slowly renovate our love house. My mother is the important person that usually playing role in renovate our house. So, I believe Nippon Paint can meet her requirement since she is quite picky and choosy.

For the makeover, I would like to choose our living room.  Living room is like the centre of my house. Everyone in my house will gather there for watching television, for relaxing and others activities. My mother always wish to paint the living room but no idea what color is suitable.

Yeah, as you can see the paint at the wall start to crack and you can easily peel it off use your hand.
